Armor level refers to whether or not you "flinch" from enemy attacks. If you notice in battle, whenever you get hit your character will "flinch" or jerk backwards.
While in this state you will be unable to perform any actions excpet Musou. The armor level of your character determines what attacks cause you to "flinch", and what attacks don't flinch you. There are 5 levels of Armor a character can achieve.
The default armor level for player characters is zero.
Gaining Armor Levels
There are 4 ways to gain Armor
- Tiger Fur Item ~ Level 1 Armor
- Sacred Tortoise ~ Level 2 Armor
- Iron Wall (Lieutenant Skill) ~ Level 1 Armor
- Steadfastness (Advanced +) ~ Level 3 Armor
Armor Levels stack ~ so Steadfastness with Sacred Tortoise will give Level 5 Armor

Everything in Level 1 also won't Flinch you with Level 2. the effect is cumalitive. You CAN still be effected by Elements reguardless of Armor Level

Generals have Armor also mostly Level 4 Armor
However these Generals have Level 5 Armor

Super Armor on Charges
When a Weapons Charge has Super Armor it means that a Normal Attack will NOT interupt your Attack. However Charge attack & Musous will!
This is a slightly weaker version of Level 3 Armor.
